FAQ

Q: What is an electric bike (E-bike)?

An electric bike, or E-bike, is a bicycle that is equipped with an electric motor to assist with acceleration. Motor assist can be delivered in two ways:

1) Pedal Assist

When you ride the bike through means of pedaling, the sensor automatically senses your riding speed and administers the motor with the same speed.

2) Throttle

Similar to the throttle or gas pedal in a motorized vehicle, engaging the e-bike throttle provides instant power assistance, without the need of pedaling.

Q: How far can I ride on a single charge?

The range of an E-bike depends on factors such as the battery capacity, the level of motor assistance used, the terrain, and the rider's weight. Each of our models have unique specifications and range abilities. The OG, which has the option to run two batteries has double the range (40-90 miles) as the Lil G and Breeze which only have a single battery (25-40 miles).

Q: How long does it take to fully charge the battery?

The estimated time to fully recharge a low battery is 7 hours. Charging times vary depending on the distance traveled, riding behavior, topography, cargo, and battery age.

Notice: The battery may require more time to charge when completely discharged, when it is brand-new, and after three to five years of consistent use.

Q: What advantages do dual motors offer?

The dual 1000w bafang motors on the OG deliver unmatched AWD traction and acceleration. Directing power to both wheels increases the bikes ability to traverse uneven and bumpy terrains, in addition to providing captivating torque. These added benefits are especially beneficial for outdoor adventure and conquering rugged dirt, sand, and gravel. The combined power output of the motors also enables better handling of with heavier loads.

Q: Can I switch between using one motor or both?

Yes, the OG has a motorswitch on the left side of the handlebars. Flipping the switch to the left will activate only the rear motor (RWD), middle position will engage both rear and front motors (AWD), and the right will select only the front motor (FWD). Adjust drivetrain as necessary per given riding conditions. AWD functioning should be approached cautiously as it permits higher acceleration than FWD/RWD.

Q: How do dual batteries function on an e-bike?

With the OG model you can utilize both 52v battery systems, simultaneously(35ah) or individually(15ah, 20ah), to effectively amplify the available energy capacity. Activiting both batteries significantly extends the bike's range, allowing for longer rides. Simply flip the switch on each battery to power it. At least one battery must be on to utilize the LCD screen and motored assist.
